Dr Kasia Kozlowska is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Australia, Clinical Associate Professor in the Disciplines of Psychiatry and Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Sydney Medical School, and clinical researcher at The Brain Dynamics Centre, Westmead, Australia.
At the Children’s Hospital at Westmead she runs the Mind-Body Program for children and adolescents with functional somatic symptoms. Her PhD and clinical research program is the area of functional neurological symptom disorder. Her other interests include: clinical ethics; the challenges of applying theory to practice; the integration of attachment assessments and systems thinking into clinical practice, the neurobiology of the fear cascade, and the neurobiology of dissociation. She is also a participant in the international Affectome Project, which includes leading scientific researchers worldwide.Back to speakers
