Associate Professor Sue Woolfenden is a senior staff specialist in the Department of Community Child Health and the clinical lead in Integrated Care at Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. She is a Conjoint Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow with the University of New South Wales School of Women’s and Children’s Health.
In her clinical, service development and research roles she aims to address child health and health care inequities in Australia and globally. Sue has a total of 62 peer reviewed publications, and extensive national and international collaborations including the NHMRC AHRTC Sydney Partnership for Health Education Research and Enterprise (SPHERE).
Associate Professor Woolfenden has been involved in over AUD $8 million worth of successful grant submissions in the areas of Aboriginal child health, child health inequities, health care services for vulnerable populations and early childhood development. Sue is the co-chair a Royal Australasian College of Physicians working group for the Inequities in Child Health Position statement.Back to speakers
