Ms Sonya Russell
Ms Sonya Russell has a background in psychology, management and service and workforce development. She has broad experience across the health sector having worked in a variety of roles from Senior Planner and Funder through to Acting CEO for a mental health NGO. She has lead the development of a range of new services including maternal crisis respite, adult crisis respite, perinatal and infant mental health services, parenting programmes, youth respite, youth development programmes and youth primary mental health initiatives.
Currently with the Ministry of Health, she has lead the development of several national pieces of work including the Commissioning Framework for Mental Health and Addiction, the re-development of the Workforce Action Plan, primary mental health and infant and maternal mental health.More information soon
