Ms Susie Ferguson

Susie Ferguson started her journalism career in the UK and over 20 years has presented and reported from around the world. She spent 6 years as a war correspondent, with her first assignment the Iraq war in 2003. Susie returned to Iraq several times as well as reporting numerous times from Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, the Balkans, Mozambique and Lebanon. She also covered the aftermath of the Asian tsunami from Sri Lanka and the devastating 2005 Pakistan earthquake. For RNZ, she’s co-hosted rolling coverage of the Christchurch and Kaikoura quakes, and presents Morning Report.
